This is a 16x12 assembly with a charcoal drawing on top of it. I created this piece by taking a lot of sheets of papers with different designs and then gluing them down. After that I added a layer of achrilic paint to allow the sheets of paper in the background to come together. After that I drew a portrait of president Lincoln in white and black charcoal on the top. I think over all it turned out really good. I had to keep in mind that I had to make this a drawing and show marksmanship which an assembly doesn't really work the best to show that. With that limitation in mind, I did my best and it turned out over all not bad.Thursday, October 6, 2011
Lincoln in white and black

Really love the Lincoln drawing....looks so much like him! I like that you left part of his face unfilled so that you can see part of the background through him.
