Calm in the fight

This is a11x9 work I created that was highly influenced by what Sarah showed me. As can been seen, it follows similar patterns in the pack ground, and I created it using water color. I then had to show my drawing skills, so I put a boxing glove in the diamond at the left. I drew it with prisma color, and the contrast between the red and blue I think really stand out. Over all I was really happy with this. I tried a lot of new techniques and it helped me to better understand design students, and also people that are in between design and drawing.

Speed

This is an experimental 8x8. So i took the style that Sarah is using right now, and added my own guy touch to it. It looks a lot different then what I normally look and honestly I am not really sure how I feel about it. It seems to be somewhat an expression of me but in a way it is also not. It's conflicting I know, so I hope people will comment and tell me what they think. I used prisma colors and water color.

Tools

This is a 10.5x6 drawing of tools. I created it with prisma color. I don't know how I feel about this at this time. I liked how the hammer turned out but everything else just seems ok to me. I tried to make it look good but the subject matter wasn't working for me for some odd reason. I really like the brown in the background.I feel the shadow under is not showing as much as on the actually work.

The one

This is a 9x6 prisma still life. I tried to change it up a bit by making the bottom right busy, yet still having one focus point. Initially it was going to be an abstract work but I then changed my mind. I really liked how the blades turned out, adding the blues and oranges really helped it pop. I also liked the added blue in the background to help it focus.I feel the top right might be a little bit empty.
