Paper Cut

This is a 7x11.5 prisma color drawing. I tried to create a yellowish effect like in photos but I don't think I did a good job at it. I was happy overall with the blade and the paper but I think it could have been better. I learned how to create certain patterns though, and I learned a few tricks to make blades look more realistic for next time. I really like the black in the cut out section, it makes the over all work stick out.

In Class

This is a 18x24 acrylic painting I did. This has been one of my biggest work I have done all year, so I was experimenting with that. Like Mr.Brandt said, I am not really known for painting. This was really outside of what I usually do, but I think over all it turned really good. I feel like the border around the work is a bit incomplete, but I was not sure what to add. Also the face did not turned out as good as I would have hopes, but I learned a lot from doing this one.
